Primary research (or sources) in medicine is a document or record that presents the original results of research or scientific discoveriesPrimary research is usually written by the people who conducted the research. Types of primary research can include a clinical trial, case study or cohort survey. It may include peer-reviewed journal articles as long as they have been written by the actual researcher(s). 

Use CINAHL, ClinicalTrials, and PubMed to find primary research.
