Tech device checkout and renewal for Spring 22

Students who are registered for Spring 22 classes are eligible to checkout devices. Use the shortcut links on this page to find out which devices are available at each campus library location OR use the Books & More link on the Library homepage to search our catalog  for a laptop, iPad, or hotspot.

Visit the campus library with the device(s) you need to check items out. You must come to a campus to check out technology in person. Come prepared with ID and your MyPima login information.

Many devices were due December 15, 2021 or earlier. Once materials are overdue, you will not be able to renew them online yourself. If you are registered for classes during the current semester and have only had the borrowed technology for one semester, we can help you to renew your items. Contact us for help. If you checked out your device during the summer term or before, you may need to bring it in for inventory control and updating- we can check it back out to you so long as you're currently registered for classes.

Note that overdue devices may be locked or have service suspended.

Check to see if your campus library has the device you'd like to borrow

Find out which campus has the technology you need in stock by following these steps:

1. Go to the Library home page (, click on the Books and More button.

2. Search for CARES Dell laptop, CARES iPad, Verizon hotspot, or AT&T hotspot 

3. Look at the list of copies- be sure to click on the button to View Additional Copies and to scroll all the way to the listings for the campus library of your choice 

4. Look for "copies" that say In Library to determine what inventory is on hand at the campus and then simply head in to check out a device. Devices are first come, first served!

If you need help with your PCC device please call the IT Service Desk at (520) 206-4900. Service Desk hours are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7am-7:30pm 
  • Friday: 7am - 5pm.
  • Saturday: 8am - 2pm 

If you need general technical support the MyPima Helpdesk provides assistance with MyPima logins, access to D2L and more. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:
