About Library Technical Services

Located at the Maintenance and Security Office, Library Technical Services (LTS) is the financial and technical hub of the libraries. The LTS team orders, catalogs, and processes nearly all of the items that are found in campus libraries (from reference books to DVDs to magazines). Additionally, team members at LTS manage the Sierra database and LibGuides system, administer interlibrary loans, and oversee the budgets for the libraries.

Jayme Adams, Library Technical Services Manager

I have been employed with Pima since 2016.  I started out as the Library Database Manager, then switched into the Library Technical Service Manager in 2017.  I am in charge of the department and the entire digital side of the library!  My job is a new day every day and I love it!  When I am not working, I enjoy hanging with friends and family, playing sand volleyball, golfing, hitting the gym, reading, and exploring Tucson and beyond!

Carol Christensen, Library Services Specialist

Hello, my name is Carol Christensen and I have been a cataloger in Library Technical Services for 20 years. Previous to working at Pima, I was a cataloger at the University of Arizona Library for 18 years. I love books!

Penny Hope, Fiscal Support Specialist

I have been employed with Pima since 2002. I started out running the Child Development Center at Downtown Campus, then moved to Library Tech Services at District Office in 2011. I enjoy monitoring the library budgets and getting the most bang for our buck! When not number crunching, I enjoy hanging with my grown sons or friends, playing on one of my 3 soccer teams, hitting the gym, hiking, or yoga. Ohmmmmmm!

Susan Santiago, Library Services Specialist

I have been an employee of the Pima College Library since 2001. In 2007, I became a permanent full-time Library Specialist for the Downtown Campus Library. In 2019, I transferred to LTS in a Library Specialist Acquisitions position. I am also a part-time caregiver for my 90-year-old grandfather and disabled mother. I am a native Tucsonan - never lived anywhere else! I recently married my best friend of 21 years and I am the proud step-mom to a beautiful 6-year-old little boy. I don’t have much free time, but I enjoy traveling, shopping and anything to do with nature. I am a cat person, I love football and I am obsessed with sharks!

Veronica Willis, Fiscal Support Specialist

I was born and raised in Tucson Arizona. I have two teenage boys that are 13 and 15. I have two cats. I like to bake, paint, and hike.

Kyle Williamson, Library Services Specialist

I started with Pima in 2001 and have worked in a variety of departments including the Science and Communication Arts Department, Student Services, and Library Services.  Pima has given me the opportunity to work at the Desert Vista Campus, Downtown Campus, East Campus, West Campus, and most recently the District Office.  At Library Technical Services, I unpack, invoice and catalog new acquisitions for our campus libraries, clean up our database, and help campus staff troubleshoot issues that come up.  In my leisure time, I enjoy playing games (board, cards, dominoes, TTRPG), cooking and hanging out with family and friends.
