Why a Transfer Guide?

Transferring is something that many Pima students will consider and some will do. A natural option for transferring is The University of Arizona due to it's proximity and relationship with PCC. Regardless of where you want to transfer, it can be difficult to know if it is the right choice for you. Even if you have your mind set on transferring, the transfer process can prove to have it's own ups and downs. With the information provided in this guide, you will hopefully be able to decide if transferring is the right choice for them, if The University of Arizona is the right school, and be equipped with some solid foundational knowledge to make the process before and after transferring easier.

Bio

Hello! My name is Soul Ezra Bjornson. I am a graduate intern here at The Pima Community College Downtown Library. I am a Tucson native born and raised.

I was homeschooled through high school and then started attending PCC in 2017. I graduated in 2020 with a Associates of Fine Arts and I transferred to The University of Arizona the next semester, eventually graduating with my Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2022. As a transfer student, I understand the process well and I know how helpful it can be to have a guide of sorts to help you along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to my record collection, shooting short films and tweeting my every thought. I hope this guide proves helpful as you make your way through the final steps of your Pima journey.
