The Open Social Work website was created by Matthew DeCarlo, PhD, MSW (Assistant Professor of Social Work La Salle University) and Kimberly Pendell, MSIS (Social Work & Social Sciences Librarian/Associate Professor at Portland State University).
Sections included are:
- Open Textbooks - many options for open textbooks through sites like Open Textbook Library, LibreTexts, Merlot, etc.
- Open Access Books for Social Work - curated books in subjects like Child Welfare, Gerontology, Sustainability and more.
- OER Guide for Faculty - covering the basics for faculty and includes open education, open pedagogy, open textbooks and more.
