Stylus and more available via the PCC Library!

The PCC Library has several technology items available for checkout, including styluses!

To request a stylus (or a laptop):

  • go the Library tab in MyPima
  • Click on Books & More
  • In the search box, type in Cares stylus (or Cares laptop - which will give you results for a Dell laptop, Macbook laptop, or an iPad)
  • Just under the blue bar is a red checkmark with the word "Request" - click on that
  • Type in your MyPima credentials and click on "Submit"
  • From the dropdown select your pick up location (Downtown Campus, East Campus or West Campus); skip the date section, and click on "Submit"
  • on the last page, scroll to the bottom and click on "Request Selected Item"
  • You will receive an email with a form to fill out and submit that you identify the day/time you will pick it up. Soon after you submit, you will receive a confirmation email explaining the location on campus for curbside pick up. You will need to bring a picture ID (drivers license or state ID is fine).

TI just announced free software for students - most available through August or September 2020.

Just go to their webpage and look at their free offerings. It looks like the red link for students gives them 4 options; you would know which would be most helpful to your students. The TI 84 TI 30/34 emulators looks very promising!  (There is also a link for instructor resources.)
