COVID-19 Info & Resources: Library Updates & Services

Library Returns

Is Your Borrowed Technology Due?

Most Library laptops, hotspots and iPads are due in mid-May. You MAY be able to renew via chat or phone if you just checked the item out this spring or, if you've had the device for awhile, you will need to bring it in for inventory control and updating. Students registered for summer classes will be able to re-checkout their device or an updated device when they bring it in.

For questions about renewing or to re-check out your device or an updated device, please reach out via chat or phone during our hours of operation or stop by any campus library.

For hours and locations, visit https://www.pima.edu/academics-programs/academic-support/library/locations-hours.html

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT HOTSPOTS:

After June 30, the College will only offer AT&T hotspots.

Verizon hotspots need to be returned and exchanged for AT&T. hotspots.

Service on hotspots will be discontinued after they become overdue.

Check to see if your campus library has the device you'd like to borrow

Find out which campus has the technology you need in stock by following these steps:

1. Go to the Library home page (https://pima.edu/library), click on the Books and More button.

2. Search for CARES Dell laptop, CARES iPad, Verizon hotspot, or AT&T hotspot

3. Look at the list of copies- be sure to click on the button to View Additional Copies and to scroll all the way to the listings for the campus library of your choice

4. Look for "copies" that say In Library to determine what inventory is on hand at the campus and then simply head in to check out a device. Devices are first come, first served!
