Accessing Points of View and finding an Overview Article
First, we need to access the Points of View Database in order to find our articles.

The Overview Article will provide you with general information about your topic. It should have:
- The history of your topic
- Definitions of important words related to your topic
- Some points and/or counterpoints about your article.

Getting the Citation
Use the tools section on the right side of the screen to email the article to yourself with an APA citation.
Enter your email address in the E-mail to section. Make sure APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Assoc.) is selected under Citation Format.
Check your email to make sure you received the article and the APA citation. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder. If you still don’t see it, resend the article.
