OBJECTIVES:
1) To learn what peer-reviewed articles are and how to find them, using the library's online databases.
MegaSearch
-Basic search (including how to narrow/focus your search)
-Email and cite the article you find, along with a few other tools
2) To learn the basics of how to conduct research via the World Wide Web, using methods such as lateral reading and SIFTing.
First, I'll demonstrate how to do the above activities. Then we'll do one together. After that, you'll use MegaSearch on your own and use the SIFTing technique on two articles within this guide.
