2. Click Advanced Search.

3. In the top box, enter a word or phrase for your main topic.

  • It if is a phrase, put it in quotes:  "racial identity"

4. Search. Note the number of results SocINDEX finds.

5. In the middle box, focus your search with another concept.

6. Search. Note the number of results SocINDEX finds.

7. Review the results

  • Note the Title, and the Abstract
  • Maybe open the full text

8. Email an article to yourself.

  • Make sure to change Citation Format to: APA

4. In the top box, enter a word or phrase for your main topic.
