SMART Board Resource Center: Workshops

Title V Workshops

SMART Board workshops are offered by the Downtown Campus Library and Title V team, and funded by the United States Department of Education (USDOE). All full-time and adjunct faculty and staff at Pima Community College are welcome and encouraged to attend!

SMART Board training is just one of many workshops topics offered by Title V. The full list of workshops open to PCC employees can be viewed here.

To sign up to attend a workshop, please send an email to kmdiezel@pima.edu. If there is anything you would be particularly interested in learning about, please include that in your email. You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours to confirm your request.

Basic SMART Board

This hands-on workshop is for those who have never used a SMART Board or anyone in need of a refresher. We'll go over basics like how to orient the board and customize the tool bar, and also explore the SMART Notebook galleries and SMART Learning Exchange. There will be time to practice as well as get assistance and ask questions. All are welcome!

Intermediate Workshop

Learn more advanced techniques, like how to use Ink Aware in Microsoft products and how to use the Notebook Gallery to create quizzes and learning activities for your classes. Come prepared to brainstorm innovative ways to use the SMART products and share your ideas. All are welcome.
