Standard Voice Commands for Insta360 X3

The Insta360 X3 recognizes the following default voice commands in English:

  • "Start recording" – begins video recording

  • "Stop recording" – ends the current recording

  • "Take a photo" – captures a still image

  • "Start time shift" – begins TimeShift mode (a hyperlapse-style recording)

  • "Stop time shift" – ends TimeShift recording

To use voice commands:

  1. Enable Voice Control in the X3's settings:

    • Swipe down on the screen → Tap the microphone icon → Turn on voice control.

  2. Speak clearly and directly at the camera.

  3. Optionally, you can activate Voice Control with Wake Word ("Insta360, take a photo", etc.) if enabled in the settings.
