Literary Terms

1.Setting: The time and location in which a story takes place

2.Characters: There are two meanings for the word character: 
            a)  The person in a work of fiction. 
            b)  The characteristics of a person.

3.Theme: The main idea

4. Plot: The sequence of events that occur through a work to produce a coherent narrative or story.

.5. Conflict: The opposition of persons or forces
