Check to see if your campus library has the device you'd like to borrow

No waiting for Dell laptops, AT&T Hotspots or iPads! Find out which campus has the technology you need in stock by following these steps:

1. Go to the Library home page (https://pima.edu/library), click on the Books and More button.

2. Search for CARES Dell laptop, CARES iPad or AT&T hotspot 

3. Look at the list of copies- be sure to click on the button to View Additional Copies and to scroll all the way to the listings for the campus library of your choice 

4. Look for "copies" that say In Library to determine what inventory is on hand at the campus and then simply head in to check out a device. Devices are first come, first served!

Students who are already registered for Spring 22 classes will be able to checkout technology after December 1, 2021.

If you checked out your device this fall, you can probably renew online- wait until after December 1, 2021- learn how here! If you checked out your device during the summer term, you may need to bring it in for inventory control and updating- we can check it back out to you so long as you're registered for classes in the spring. If you have troubles renewing, contact us via chat or phone.

If you need help with your PCC device please call the IT Service Desk at (520) 206-4900. Service Desk hours are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7am-7:30pm 
  • Friday: 7am - 5pm.
  • Saturday: 8am - 2pm

Returns

Books and DVDs can be returned to any Pima College Library book drop. Laptops, tablets and hotspots must be returned to the desk inside one of the campus libraries. See our Hours and Locations page for more information.

 

The PCC Library does not charge fines. If you receive an email notification about overdue materials but you have already returned the items, please disregard the notice or contact us at http://libanswers.pima.edu
 

Renewals

You may renew your materials as long as no other patron has a hold on them and so long as you have not exceeded the max renewals. Note that technology devices must be brought in periodically for inspection, typically, tech devices may be renewed only once. 

STUDENTS/PIMA EMPLOYEES:
In your MyPima Portal click on the Library tab at the top
On the left hand side click on My Library Account
Input your mypima username and password (if prompted)
Check the items you wish to renew then click Renew All

 

COMMUNITY MEMBERS:
From the library home page

Scroll down and click on View Your Circulation Record and Renew
Input your last name and barcode number
Check the items you wish to renew then click Renew All
